Clarkston is a one-act play by Samuel D. Hunter about two young men, Jake and Chris, who form a tentative bond while working the night shift at a Costco in Clarkston, Washington, exploring themes of isolation, mortality, and the American frontier spirit. Jake, a descendant of William Clark, has fled his life after a fatal diagnosis, while Chris feels trapped in his small town.
